Leverage Positive Customer Reviews

Google recently announced a new feature where you can add customer reviews in AdWords.

This means that if you have some positive customer reviews that you would like to highlight, then your review can be added as an extension in your ad.

Adding extra information will mean your ad has more real estate at no extra cost.

The reviews that are added must come from a reliable 3rd party website. This means you can not link to reviews that are located on your own website.

Reviews are suitable for those businesses where people who are comparison shopping and trying to evaluate one supplier over another or where they are typing in your brand name along with the word “review” in search.

It could also be suitable for businesses who does not have a high profile but where the decision making process is highly involving i.e. you are selling a high ticket item like a car or kitchen renovation and you want to build trust bridge to get your prospect over the line.

Reviews will enable you to showcase positive stories from authority websites.

It may be less suitable for business where the purchase decision is less involving because the purchase price is lower.

Review extensions are available in Australia and are in beta.

Our advice is to start collating your positive reviews and send them through to us. We will assess each link and write the copy to make sure they comply with Google’s policies.
